A CONSTANT TOPIC: Should you ride your horse down, or should you ride him up?
You should ride your horse down, so you can ride him up! Riding your horse down strengthens certain parts of its body so it gets strong in a positive way. It gives the horse a nice balanced frame so it wants to stay round and not hollow when you ride him up. Every performing horse needs to master both a low frame, and an uphill (just please take your time with the uphill one).
Another topic, BIG THANKS to everyone who’s responded to our survey! I’m really glad to see so many of you prfioritize healthy values for your horses and are eager to learn more about equine health and training! I’ll defo get better on the frequency here ones this current summer heat wave slows down and I can get back to energetic modes.
Congratulations Deann Dolph for your win of the beautiful equine photography book HORSE/HUMAN: AN EMOTIONAL BOND !
