SO MUCH good happening at once here I’m not sure where to start, but essentially, I’ve just had an absolutely magic horsey weekend in the heart of London as the Longines Global Champions Tour was held at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea.
The LGCT is the world’s premier five-star show jumping event bringing together the top 30 riders in the FEI Jumping World Rankings to compete at the most stunning venues around the world. Kicking the series of in Mexico, going to Shanghai, Miami, Madrid, Paris, Chantilly, Cannes, Monaco, Berlin it was now London’s turn to watch the show.
We’ve seen some of the best showjumpers in the world in action, with the most BEEEEAutiful backdrop, surrounded by my dear Longines family and all the elegance and talents that comes with them. Beautiful horse loving people creating a fantastic atmosphere. I’ve walked the course with Horse & Country TV (omg that course) and visited dear friends and riders behind the scene to see how the show is for the main characters, the horses. & I must say I’m impressed! The event is massive and in the middle of the city, but so well organised and planned for the horses wellbeing.
& I mean, WOW what a feeling when UK’s favourite Scott Brash won both Grand Prix classes on Saturday in front of home crowd! Even a dressage nerd like me was all totally goose bumped. Videos on instagram, including their perfect speedy jump off! & interviews, course walk and bts on Horse & Country TV.
Lots of love to Longines for supporting the equine sports in the most beautiful way, for both horses, riders, owner and enthusiasts. & thanks so much for having me!
