AS YOU KNOW, I’m a energetically very sensitive little being. I’m incredibly strong in most ways. But if my own mind, body, soul is not i great balance I loose that strength. I might be more sensitive to unbalance then what’s common, but it is as it is. I need to hold great energy every day to both perform with the horses but also have energy to take care of my clients and business. For me it’s therefore really important I plan time to take care of myself. I go on a regular basis to yoga (Yard Yoga in Forest Row is the place to be. Better yoga then I ever found my years in both New York and London!). I go for my sports massage, acupuncture, chiropractor, reiki healing and life & career guidence. & what all those super people that helps me says in common, is that it’s incredibly important WHAT food I eat. Not only that I eat a lot of fuel to keep riding well into the late afternoon, but also that the fuel I eat is as potent as possible. More potent then what’s common. So, I don’t eat gluten or dairy (except for raw milk <3) & I buy my food at the local farm shop, all organic. Most people think it gets more expensive to eat all organic, but you know what:) organic food has so much more fibres and nutrients that you don’t have to eat as much! & that’s true. I eat most veggies, organic meat a few times a week, oat bars on the go, I always have lemon water with me, and I start every morning with this super boosting smoothie bowl:

  • Half avocado
  • Half a mango
  • Some fresh spinach
  • 100g gluten free oats
  • Soya or coconut yoghurt
  • 1 table spoon spirulina powder
  • 1 table spoon maca powder
  • Chia seeds

If I’m feeling luxury I top it up with some cashew nut butter, berries, coconut or sunflower seeds, and whoppaa I’m good to ride 5 horses until next meal!
