WHO SAID A dressage horse can’t do the race track! Even this big man, with a Jazz – Flemmingh breeding (!), needs a good stretch on a regular basis. I try to get my horses out for a good cardio canter once a week. I find it specially good for the dressage horse as we’re normally so focused on collection and ride a lot in the arena. & this is I’d say is a great balance to that. Ok, I still keep my horses in a frame, I don’t go completely crazy. I never ever see a reason working with a hollow back or clear underneck but it’s a freer frame. I put them in balance and then they can flow forward as fast as they like without loosing the balance. AH it’s good!
Might be the Ascot next for this big bird;) Sarah Dimartin’s Lucky
